Frequently Asked Questions
Innately, within our body, PRP are the cells which assist in the healing process.
When we injure a part of the body, PRP automatically migrates to the site of injury, initiating a healing response by releasing numerous growth factors and other proteins.
By directly providing a rich source of enhanced plasma into an injured site, we provide more healing factors,
enhancing the body’s natural healing capacity. This leads to a more efficient and thorough restoration of the tissue to a healthy state.
Platelet Rich Plasma, PRP Injections is used in the enhancement of cosmetic procedures also known as facial rejuvenation AKA the Vampire Facial. We use this treatment as an adjunct to micro-needling to promote increased collagen production and overall
skin improvement.

Since enhanced plasma originates from a concentrate of your own blood, safety concerns are minimal. As with any injection, sterile technique is used to avoid infection.
Following one treatment you most likely will see results, however, 3 treatments spaced 5-6 weeks apart is recommended.
The treated area will improve over the next several months. Annual maintenance may be of benefit as the natural aging process continues.
