Cellulite is the unsightly lumpy, dimpled skin appearance, also known as the “cottage cheese” or “orange peel” appearance. Cellulite consists of fat deposits that appear mainly on the hips, thighs, and buttocks. Cellulite is probably one of the most aesthetically troubling concerns of women. It is estimated that 80 percent of women over age 20, regardless of their weight or size, are affected by cellulite.
Aside from exercise and reducing body fat, several contouring treatments can be done to remove cellulite. At our facility, we use Exilis Elite, Velashape, or Z wave to help with Cellulite reduction/Cellulite Removal treatment.

Yes, it is treatable. We use Exilis Elite, Velashape, and Z wave to help with Cellulite reduction. If the treatment area is small and very deep, we can use Mesotherapy ( injections) to help small areas.
While there are numerous cellulite removal treatments on the market that claim to ease cellulite appearance, no cream, lotion, or ointment will help decrease the appearance of cellulite.

The Vela Product line is the only non-invasive body shaping product to combine four different technologies including infrared head, radio-frequency, mechanical tissue manipulation that acts as massage as well as a vacuum to help with body contouring. This innovative treatment option is often noticeable from the first session, and it addressed cellulite and other troublesome body issues by reducing cellulite, reshaping hips, thighs and buttocks for a more toned, shapely look, and boosts collagen so skin appears more toned and texturally, more youthful.
With the Vela Shape III, there is no pain, no anesthesia and no downtime following a procedure. We recommend three treatment sessions for the best results, but one treatment session may be enough for those with mild cellulite.
The Vela Shape III can be used on any part of the body, including beneath the chin tackle sagging skin, the arms, thighs, buttocks, hips and abdomen.
While the VelaShape treatment does provide body contouring, it is not a weight-loss program, and it is designed for those who have a BMI of less than 30 who fall under stages 0 to 3 on the Nurnberger-Muller cellulite classification scale.
Cellulite treatment areas could be on the neck (under chin), arms, thighs, buttocks, flank and abdomen. Most patients see gradual and cumulative results throughout the treatment regime.
The Z-wave, developed by Zimmer Aesthetics in Europe, attacks cellulite by using radial ultrasound pulse therapy that breaks up the fat cells causing the appearance of cellulite.
The treatment is non-invasive and painless, and again, there is no downtime following a procedure.
Sometimes, certain areas of the body – such as the deeper pockets of cellulite that are part of Stage 4 on the scale – require a more aggressive approach.
To address these areas, we inject L-Carnitine, compounded in one of the oldest pharmacies in country, which is known for its fat- burning abilities. This Cellulite reduction injectable can be used alone or mixed with phosphotidyl choline/sodium deoxycholate, another localized fat reduction option.
We recommend a series of three injections given two weeks apart for those receiving L-Carnitine alone, or once every two weeks for four weeks for those receiving a blend of both fat-burning injections.
This FDA-approved treatment uses a non-surgical device that helps reduce fat in the body, tighten the skin and improve the quality of skin. There is NO downtime following this procedure.
The BTL Exilis Elite – the second-generation version of the original BTL Exilis Elite – uses radio-frequency to attack stubborn fat cells and heat to remodel the collagen that makes up the bulk of the skin’s connective tissue, so it reshapes the body in two different ways.
